About Andy
Andy is the mind behind Honour Designs Ltd.
Qualified in Applied Physics while working as a Research Apprentice at Thorn EMI Central Research Labs. Andy worked on a number of projects including Piezo-electric polymers and the design and patenting of new Thick-Film heaters.
His next move was to Ekco Packaging, designing new container product ranges and tooling for high volume manufacturing. Then at Euromoulds Andy oversaw production implementation and problem-solving of two-shot plastic mould tools and other technically challenging tooling for new products (which Andy created and designed from concept through to production.)
Andy is named as inventor or co-inventor on numerous patents and, on a more personal level, Andy has been a warranted Cub Scout Leader for longer than he'd care to admit. He is also currently a section leader for both Cub scouts and Explorer scouts.
He gets great satisfaction from leading young people on adventurous activities. Helping them to learn new skills as well as developing good team-work and personal confidence. Amersham carnival float design and build are just one by-product (PHOTO OPP!)
